Laine's value is kinda hard to gauge. Very good player, worth the high cap hit when he's healthy. But his health concerns and public desire to be elsewhere absolutely pull that value down.
I seriously doubt Graves is that easy to move, but I've seen a lot of Flames fans on this website interested in a LD with term, so I'm not complaining. I am skeptical on replacing him with Kylington, though. A more offensive pick who spent a year+ away from the game. I'd rather pick up Dillon or OEL, IMO.

I like the ideas, overall.

If the jackets are retaining on laine and taking smith back I think I’d want a little better return but it’s hard to tell what Laines value is. I think I would accept this as a jackets fan if there’s no other option out there but I would be disappointed if that’s all they could get

Definitely thought graves would be harder to move but also saw a ton of flames fans do something similar to this with no retention so I went with it. Not gonna complain there
