    Take Maatta out and you have the base for a Markström Trade. It’s not exactly what we’re looking for, but it could meet some needs. If we could get Veleno added in there somehow, that’d be ideal

    That Markstrom trade is bad for the Wings.
    That Kings trade is astronomically bad for the Wings, what the hell is the thought process there? All 3 of the offers you send them are worth substantially more than Kaliyev.

    Looked at it again nope, it’s not. I guess it depends on whether you think Holl or Maatta have Trade Value or not. Many on here consider them dumps. We could use Holl, but not Maata. I’d retain or add something for Veleno

    Holl is a dump, Maatta has value. Maybe not to Calgary even though they have a whole 0 left handed NHL defensemen signed for next season. We might be lucky enough to find a team to take Holl but we likely don't trade him at a loss, not with his buyout being only 1.1M.
