Why wouldn’t the canes just buyout kk at this point and not take on a cap dump in return? Wild how people can’t understand simple logic even when you take values out of the equation..

One argument for retaining on KK is that it would only be 6 years of a minimal cap hit rather than 12 years. Although retaining while taking back Mikheyev would only make sense if there’s the same amount of retention on Mikheyev

The 800k on the back end is a rounding error by that point in the cap picture. It’s certainly not worth it requiring Mik coming back since the whole point of moving kk is to get immediate cap savings if that’s what they decide to do for other moves.
