    Don’t overreact, it’s all in fun. Here is why I think that would make (a tiny bit of) sense:

    - LA is one of the destinations Marner would waive
    - LA transforms a surplus (centres) for wingers
    - LA gets out of the PLD contract
    - Dubois is the kind of player Treliving loves
    - Toronto takes a chance on Dubois who could redeem himself after an awful year

    Agree, PLD has the worse contract in the league. Has Marner said he would waive for LA, that state is nutbar sector6 don't know why anyone would want to move there.

    Yeah, it's entirely a coincidence that California is the most populated state in the US and that Los Angeles County is more populous than 41 states. Tell all your friends: don't come here -- especially Mitch Marner; he'd be as welcome as Rob Ford.
