Demelo contract is dumb. Him and Nedelkovic are lateral moves from Roy and Talbot and you wanna pay them even more than those 2.
This is basically the same sucky team we had to sit through this season with different combinations.

DeMelo is too much (much too much), Byfield is too little, and Grundstrom is under his Qualifying Offer. I know that we're hamstrung by the DuBois contract, but our esteemed colleague @Enrique is right -- this is basically the same team that was non-competitive against the Oilers.
