My personal prediction, who knows how close I am, I'm a keyboard warrior just like the rest of you after all.

Trade Necas for an elite goalie. Don't mention his playoff record, he's been on a mid team his whole career with no hopes of ever winning a series with the rosters they've put on the ice.

Underwhelming right handed center signing in Roslovic.

Signing mid 20 goal scoring winger in Duclair.

Sign a mid rhd to a mid deal.

Dump Freddie for a mid pick

Find a mid veteran LHD to play with Morrow.

There you have it. My prediction for the 2024-25 Carolina MidCanes.

They will be a playoff team, but I could see them dropping into the wildcard.

Trotz should only move Saros if we're getting a center back. Necas' game doesn't scream "I can play 1C". He can't win faceoffs and his defensive results over the years leave a lot to be desired.

Preds have enough flexibility that they should be getting a 1C and a top 6 scoring winger… doesn’t have to be all in one.
