This is big L for Flyers. They need top end talent, not some fringe NHLers on position where they already have too many players.

I think that the idea that Farrell and Harris together have the value that Romanov had when he was traded for #13 overall is . . . optimistic.

As @Ujeje says, Philly needs top-end talent, not complementary roster players. If Eiserman is on the board at #12, the Flyers will joyfully take him.

That Philly trade is really atrocious. Harris does not carry close to the same value as Romanov who is currently the islanders #3 defenseman. Harris is like a #6 on Montreal.
