Description
The Bruins want to build a deep team that is defensively sound. They have been after Elias Lindholm for a long time and finally add him to the roster through free agency. Ullmark is traded to New Jersey for Holtz who adds speed and shots to their middle six. DeBrusk and Heinen are retained because of their solid defensive games, and help round out a formidable bottom six that can both score and kill penalties. This Bruins team lacks top end talent at forward, but has four good-to-great lines and the versatility to shake things up. This team has a good mix of speed/size, youth/veterans that teams need to be cup contenders. The all around defense of this group and Swayman in net makes them extremely hard to play against.
