Hawks decline. They aren't paying anything for one year of JT. if Tavares will waive, Leafs pay him his $7m signing bonus on 7/1. Then on 7/2 trade him to the Hawks for future considerations. Otherwise, can't see the Hawks being interested.

NSH declines. NSH isn't moving Evangelista for anything. That is the equivalent of TOR moving Knies. NSH is willing to move Saros, but Marner is not the ideal return for Saros, despite how good he is, and that is a lot to give up for a RW when NSH has Kemell and Wood coming up as early as next year. Neither are as good as Marner, but they can still play in the top 6. NSH should be moving Saros for a center, not a RW
