Not even close for Swayman. He's not moving. Bruins have plenty of cap for next season, he's still an RFA, and there would be more than a few teams trying to trade for him if he was for some inexplicable reason the goalie they chose to move on from. Hellebuyck just signed for 8.5, that is probably above what Sway gets unless they decide the age difference is enough to justify it. Also, they're not dealing with the Habs

Boston declines. No interest in the return. They have plenty of cap space next year. They trade Ullmark before they trade Swayman.

Yeah WSH doesn’t touch that. A team that just picked in the Lottery isn’t trading a 1st just to dump a single season of a player that isn’t even grossly overpaid.

Dumping Mantha, a 1 year deal, simply will not cost a 1st. Dumping him won’t move the needle for Washington’s season anyway so it makes no sense to dump him.
