Assuming the cap only goes up 4 million per cap friendly. I know the reports are 7 million, but I’m concerned how issues with RSN’s will impact revenue next year.

I think Seattle looks to upgrade the number 2 center position over Wennberg , but will prioritize 4 line depth over getting a true number 2 center as I think the goal will be to develop Wright into a top 2 center over the next few years.

The rest will be filling out good depth in the bottom 6 and developing the prospect pool.

Of note, no Eberle. I think Yamamoto will thrive in Seattle and they will resign him, and Tolvanen will continue to thrive in Seattle. Those 2 will get raises and fit the bottom 6, where I think Eberle will probably be able to get 2 to 3 years at or slightly above 5 on the open market and will be looking for top 6 minutes.

Also assuming the Kraken try and lock Beniers up for 8 years. Not sure what the number would be exactly, but using the Makar contract as a guide and barometer for signing someone to 8 years off of ELC. I don’t think Benniers will be in the discussion for best center coming off ELC, but I think there won’t be much doubt on his ability to be a number 1 center
