Grubby would be a cap dump in the eyes of the Flyers. This is woefully insufficient.

I was thinking the same thing. He is good but the value of the contract trumps his talents by a long shot.

Why would MTL do this? Winterton doesn't bring anything special to their existing prospect pool and they pay a 4th to help Seattle dump Driedger?

Flyers are in a rebuild, no reason to get a 31 year old goalie who makes $6 mil. Rather pay Hart $6 mil x 8 and have him locked until he is 33
