Description

A lot of people think that the Golden Knights are destined to go into a massive rebuild soon and that they won't be competitive for much longer. I disagree. This team is a look at the prospects within the VGK system, and how everything could line up in a situation like this, where every player on the roster aged 28 or older has been removed from the team, put on LTIR for the sake of convenience. While there may not be any bonafide superstars to be in the VGK system, there are a lot of solid players that could help to round out a still competitive team. Not to mention, this is without any trades, waiver pickups, and anything that would use a ton of cap space. As I see it, GMKM has set VGK up to be competitive for more than a decade from this very moment.

We need some of these young guys to pop. If Brisson can turn into Eichel’s wing with that one timer and shot that would be nice.

Jakub Demek could turn into a middle 6 winger which is desperately needed.

Jackson Hallum is the wildcard, I think he could turn into Chandler Stephenson with his speed and skill set

Hopefully Cormier can become something too.

It definitely isn’t as bleak as it was made look.!

I think it does steam from "Gold Team Bad" lol. I love Brisson, Cormier, Guftasson and Barbenec as prospects. But we also have so many young guys already on the roster that could be incredible. Hague is the gift that keeps on giving.

Yep. A part of me wants to push some of the older guys out next year and let some of these kids play. They don’t work out, go after guys at the deadline.
