    If you really want revenge on Rangers for McDonagh trade, send them Gomez or the GM that made the deal Gainey.

    Wait, you're comparing Sergachev trade for Drouin (22yrs) to McDonagh for Gomez (30yrs)??

    Zibanejad is not worth 7.5m, but to force a team's hand with an offer sheet you need to overpay. And at some point, whether in free agency, offer sheet or trade, we will have to overpay to get a bloody top 6 center on this team lol. Zibanejad is a young big center who is already playing a lot of minutes and has performed well in the playoffs, he might as well be the player to bet on at this point.

    Just saying, it's going to be a tough pill to swallow watching him flourish in Tampa. New NHL, you can't trade young stud D. Zib is not worth 7.5, I know how it works. NYR are in the same boat, no Cs.
