Do not need. We're deep on D-men. Need a 3C though, not sure NYR is the best team to be asking right now.

If Murray is going after a legit winger in the vain of Marleau than Sami Vatanen has to be traded. I mean, he has to be traded before Cam's new deal kicks in, not to mention the new deal Manson will need by next summer, so doing so now won't make too much of a difference, especially since he might miss the first two months anyway. So if that happens we will need a vet on the third pair that makes that kind of money. If that happens I'd be happy with Holden, especially at that price. I'm curious to see if Larsson or Megna can fill in that spot but we might need a vet in case either of them aren't ready.

So if the situation presents itself, this is a good trade for the Ducks.
