I don't think Bertuzzi get you that much. His health alone drops his value

With that said for the right price I would not mind seeing him in TO

Yeah, he’s going to have to pick up his game for the next month for sure. He’s been really rusty his last 3 games since returning from injury however, he had a sweet shot between the legs attempt that would have been huge had he scored.

But again, a guy that plays a heavy game on both ends of the ice and can pull off finesse moves like a shot between the legs in tight is a really rare commodity.

Edmonton trade is the most reasonable, with the way Walman is playing, and Sundvists depth, plus the Foegele cap dump. That ought to cost a first. Maata probably only gets a 2nd at best. Kubalik is not getting a first, and doesn't get traded if Bertuzzi goes and considering the Vrana situation; a once glut of options on wing becomes a sizable hole or position of weakness.

The Bertuzzi trade, at present, is an overpay.

The Rangers trade...maybe, depending on the cap situation. Big gamble by the Rangers though.

I agree with everything. I do however see Bertuzzi getting what he’s worth, which is what we’re getting here tho.

Kubalik for sure is NOT worth a 1st. I think he is an absolutely atrocious hockey player. He is an absolute abomination defensively and his forechecking is virtually nonexistent. It’s very obvious to me why he was non-tendered. So that trade is certainly wishful thinking.

NYR shouldn’t trade Miller; they need to find a way to get creative and extend him. But if he becomes available, I would love to have him.

Detroit won’t want to pay the price for miller that it’ll actually cost.
