Description

Resign the players we need in Montreal.
Trade and pay the price for a first pair defensman to play with Weber.
Bring Charlie Lindgren up and slowly prepare him to be our number one goaltender in the near future.
Trade Price while his value is high and bring Halak to help the transition for Lindgren.
Get rid of Shaw's awfull contract and get something valuable in return.
Get a first line center by giving what needs to be given (sorry Galagher, I will miss you !) and free some cap space by partially getting rid of Plekanec high salary.
Great present ! Great future !
And there is still some money left for emergencies...

Brodin would be the perfect D partner for Weber. They would be an absolute dynamic duo! With that said, I don't want the Wild to trade Brodin (he's WAY better than most people know)...but, if the 2018 draft is as deep as advertised, I'll take two 2018 1st rounders for him. I would prefer to get Lindgren, McCarron, and Juulsen in the deal, but Lindgren is a big part of your plan here, so...
