Buffalo has no incentive to do this unless they get an asset back. Also they aren’t going to take on multi year salary because they are close to playoff contention anyway.

if Dadanov has a solid first half like he ended the last 2 months of 2022 (and to a lesser extent Oct-Jan 2022) he is very much a positive asset at the TDL 1/2 retained
