Salary Cap Mode: Basic

- Sergachev will absolutely have to continue improving now that he's the 2LD or that contract will look bad. But I believe in him, he's a stud.
- Cirelli and Cernak are good deals, probably a little high but for 8 years it's worth it imo.
- Cole signing sucks but at least it's only one year.
- VLADDY IS BACK

Overall, I love all of this from GMJBB. Gives us a good amount of cap space next summer while also locking up the future. Probably not a Cup favorite anymore this season but I'm excited to see how specifically Sergachev develops.

As for the lines... I would like to see the Stamkov line reunited but it probably makes more sense to keep Point and Kucherov together. I am putting Namestnikov back with Kucherov at least, so there's 2/3 of it. "Pointov" line I guess? Also keeps Killorn-Cirelli-Stamkos together.

I have Colton-Paul-Hagel as the 3rd line because I feel like they could generate some offense. Hagel was ridiculously unlucky in the playoffs and maybe playing with a skill-focused 3rd line could help.

4th line is to punch people in the face.

As for the defense...
Foote absolutely has to improve this season. I say play him with Hedman at the start of the season and see if that helps. If not, then either Cernak or Myers can move up.
Sergachev finally gets the 2LD spot. Hopefully that means we can see his wrist shot from the blue line a lot more.
3rd pair is whatever but Myers will be interesting to watch too.
