I think the main problem is that Kiviranta is a UFA and theres a pretty good chance he doesnt re-sign with us, for which I wouldnt blame him. Grushnikov had a pretty underwhelming season in Hamilton, and I find that most players who profile as strictly defensive defensemen in juniors dont end up as more than 3rd pairing defensemen these days. Bourque is a very nice piece to start the package around though, just think the peripherals need to be thought out a bit more.

I was joking about that but hawks wouldn’t trade Kane in the division for something that low of an offer a first and a top prospect would have to be envolved

I do like Bourque if he's the main piece, and I wouldnt expect to get a huge return, especially after what we saw for Debrincat. But I would expect probably a first as well at least. I think his price will be higher at the deadline
