Honestly don't see BUF doing that. If a deal is involving O'Reilly they are going to be looking for a guy like Pulijujarvi/Benson coming back and they need defense too so a prospect like Bear would probably be near the top of the list in asking price. The salary retention you added to the BUF side makes it not even worth it for them.

Just when you think you've seen it all....

Both teams retaining seems insane to me, but I guess crazier things have happened. Not really sure Buffalo wants $2.5 million in dead cap on the books for the next six years

Lets just go with Ennis for a 3rd. I really doubt Buffalo move ROR. He is most likely their captain next season. The new GM talked about the tandem of him and Eichel as one of the things that he most liked about Buffalo's roster.
