Colorado is looking for a top 4 dman so they wouldn't trade their best defender for a busted d prospect, Hagelin and a 1st rounder. It just sets them back even further.
Also if fleury is available in the expansion draft he will get taken. Dont think you need to add a sweetener there.

If bonino wants over 4 mil let him walk.
Thorton wouldn't sign on to be a 4th line center and is too old, slow to be effective in the Pens system and no way to tell if he will recover 100% from an acl, mcl tear at 37 years old.
