With both Berggren and Soderblom coming up sooner rather then later, Detroit has no spot for Kapanen. And Sundqvist replaces Namestnikov 2 years younger and can play up and down the lineup plus he's way bigger than Names. Yzerman isn't signing Staal to healthy scratch him. And that LD looks horrendous. Simon Edvinsson is pretty much NHL ready now and we expect him to make it out of camp.

While I'm not a fan of Kappy I doubt Pittsburg even considers this.

1. Soderblom is not even close to NHL ready (and probably never will be) lol
2. Namestikov is a much better player than Sundqvist, aside from his size
3. Correct on Staal
