Description
Overall I feel like it's a conservative approach. Start with a young roster. Let some guys develop. There is talent to keep this team in a playoff race. If needed, there is a little bit of cap room to acquire a piece mid-season if needed. As much as I hate to see them continue to waste away the prime years of Bergy, Krej, and Tuukka, there are no free agents out there that make this team an immediate contender. Might as well save up, see how well you draft and develop and see which guys you are willing to go with as you move forward into 2018-19.

Also, don't know if the Anaheim trade actually works, I just see the Bruins trading Spooner's rights somewhere. Doesn't look like he will be back.

The issue that I run into is the left side. DeBrusk (if up) isn't sitting upstairs and if he is, he should be in the AHL gaining experience. With that, you're going to have two rookies on the left and probably 1 down the middle in JFK. I'm not a huge fan of having two rookies on a line together unless they came up thorough the AHL together.

Seems like a lot of youth to infuse in one year.
