All true but if someone offered a 2nd plus the Canucks would be foolish not to take it. I'd take a 3rd straight up for him, though I'd prob wait till next yr for that deal.

i get your opinion but mine is It would be hard to replace him ,would cost you a second.So keep him, keep the chemistry in the room, he leads by example on the ice too.Plus hes a pretty good D man.

I like him too he's just clearly not going to be part of the future. A 2nd and prospect definitely would. And I certainly wouldn't advocate for trading picks to replace him. It'd have to be bottom of the UFA pile again or a trade that sent money out.
