Urghh that ARZ trade... so essentially we traded a 1st, 2nd & Drouin for Schmaltz & Jay Beagle?

Montreal is not letting Lehkonen go for a 2nd, his value to the team out weighs the value of a 2nd round prospect. Same can be said for Caufield (who is pretty well untouchable) Dvorak, Petry, Edmundson, Perrault and Drouin. The only ones you somehow managed to get close to what Montreal would let them go for is Gallagher and the fring players, like Niku, Kulak and Pacquette. In short Montreal isn't doing any of these deals

I don't think the Canucks would accept that trade. The salary retention makes it enticing but Gallagher is just too often injured and given his play style and injury history he sadly carries too much risk as a guy that finishes his career in LTIRetirement.
