Hayes doesn't net you Hanifin. You'd have to start with Miller + 1st to even get CAR to say hello. Why wouldn't you just deal with WPG directly if your plan is to flip Hanifin for Trouba?

Yep no way does Hayes alone net you Hanifin Miller+1st to even get Ron Francis on the phone and it would take more then just Hanifin to get you Trouba any ways.

So Carolina gives up about 6 to 7 years with of control for Hanifin for 2 years of Hayes, Never happen in a million years.

in my opinion that isn't enough for Hanifin when then rangers get him, and then too much for Trouba in my opinion. Also, in my opinion the rangers shouldn't do that.
