You've done this post with a 2016/2017 roster, and Hunwick and Kulikov are UFAs. Doesn't understand the "toughness" issue on the Leafs. Aren't Martin and Komarov enough on LW? One year of Vladsic shouldn't cost the Sabres Nylander. If cap dump Gorges isn't good enough for your self proclaimed poor defence Sabres, would any other team want him?
Seems like every team want to cap dump on Vegas and give them a 3rd round pick. Vegas appears to have 140m lineup and 30 third round picks.

Detroit's not trading either Nyquist or Tatar for more forwards, If we trade either it's for a top 4 LHD/RHD nothing less.

People act like nyquist and Tatar have had such bad years and need a change. Tatar is back in scoring form and nyquist has turned into a big playmaker for the wings. Would be tied for third in assists for you guys with eichel. He's been shooting less. Goal totals down. But getting way more Apples than he has in the past. It's he role he's developed on a low scoring team
