Description
Colorado want either guent or sprong, I am ok with giving up sprong because Duchene is who we want him to turn into and realistically I don't think he will. Duchene isnt a rental either,we'll have him up to summer '19. I know fleury has to go, but I would rather keep him as insurance for the playoffs. Our defence is honestly fine if no one gets injured (unlikely), it's honestly better than last year with Shultz emurging as a top 4 d-man. Please leave your comments below for good discussions. I honestly think pens are going to make a move soon for either Duchene or something with Dallas... They placed Fehr on waivers this morning for cap space. They will still have a percentage of the cap hit but not the full 2 mill.
I'm betting it'll be fleury and something for lehtenon and sharp with cap retained

Pens aren't getting Duchene or even Landy.

Reasons:

1) Jim likes to make 'big' trades about a month or so before the TDL so everyone can get used to each other.
2) Too big of a trade to make at the TDL
3) Sakic's asking price is very high and he's not gonna budge. Though it might bite him in the ass later in the offseason.

Why do you think the pens placed Fehr on waivers? I'm just looking for other perspectives or other potential trades. I heard a rumor a few weeks ago about stralman but i highly doubt TB will part with him for anything shy of 2 rights arms and 3 left nuts and a few draft picks.

They are still looking for depth options from I heard of.

Still possible the major trades happen, just IMO I think it's highly unlikely.
