I'm a big fan of Kaliyev not sure if kings would be willing to part ways with him. Also I think Detroit brings in someone to play middle 6 center to take some pressure off Veleno and have Cholowski paired with Hronek like last year

I don’t disagree about center. I just don’t know if there’s anyone viable. Maybe a vet like Krejci? Maybe a younger guy like Wenneberg?

For LA, sometimes you have to give something up to get something back. They clearly think they can start to make a run. They lack those greasy guys, so bringing in a guy like Bert solidifies that role and gives them their other top 6 forward. Kaliyev is more or less a victim of being one of 15 solid top 6 prospects.

I also agree about Cholo. That’s really semantics tho. This was more about the trades and signatures.

For Center my favorite potential move is call Tampa and have them dump Tyler Johnson on us, get an asset and with the cap space we have, $5m isn't awful and I dont think it would be an issue until his last year of his contract
