    First, and biggest thing. 2 years is the only term that Sweeney shouldn’t even consider for carlo. Takes him right to UFA without buying out any UFA years.
    Palmieri is having a good playoff, don’t allow that to make you forget his career progression prior to that.
    Ritchie can’t play in the NHL.
    No need to try to pay Seattle to take Moore. They have the cap space for now.

    I just can't see Detroit giving up a high second for a limited offense defensive defender... if it's Edmonton's 2nd or Detroit's 3rd, I think Detroit at least has the conversation...

    I don't think Zboril is the right guy for Detroit.

    Detroit have loads of prospects on LD and really only need some veteran help for a year or two until the kids mature.

    Gardiner or Gostisbehere on cap dump deals that bring assets in instead of out are probably better than this offer.
