Assuming season starts on Jan 1, Pastrnak can be on LTIR.
It would have been okay to start without a top4 LD with a healthy lineup but not sure now. Will need a strong defensive game and both our Gs to be at their best if we want to get through January without 88.

It depends on the role but if it's RW3, he has a chance. Studnicka and Kuhlman are the other guys fighting for that spot. Kuhlman can also play on the 4th (Senyshyn could as well but he probably has a bigger upside offensively than KK83). Lindholm is 4C probably. And Frederic 4th as LW/C but he should be last player entering in the lineup among these four.

I know this is a pessimistic POV and we'll probably be fine but I'm starting to lean towards management taking the revamp approach. Lock up the next core group in DeBrusk, Carlo, McAvoy, Pasta, move on from Krejci, Rask and Halak, could probably get a decent return for Chara too, and acquire some futures, re-assess next Summer. It sucks that the core doesn't get another shot but it will also be nice to see what we have in some of these kids that Sweeneys been hoarding for the last few years.
