Damn that is a massive blockbuster. I'm sure Buffalo would need a long term extension on Laine in place before considering this

Adams won’t trade Eichel this offseason though.

Only pieces of value in that trade are Laine, Heinola, 10th OA, and the 2021 1st. To break it down: Laine is a one-dimensional player who is lazy and either hot or very cold, Heinola is a great prospect, the 10th OA is going to be a good player, the 2021 1st wouldn't be a good pick because next year's draft isn't deep and this Winnipeg team would be a cup contender. Value wise on Eichel this trade is not close. If you want a good value wise trade here's one:

Winnipeg Jets
Jack Eichel

Buffalo Sabres
2020 1st (10th OA)
2020 2nd (41st OA)
Nikolaj Ehlers
Ville Heinola
Andrew Copp

Imo that's fair value but from a Sabres perspective first of all it makes ZERO SENSE to trade Jack Eichel and secondly we would need a NHL top 6 center in return. Seeing as Winnipeg only has Mark Scheifele that wouldn't work out.

With that return, you could package up any number of those assets and trade for pretty much whatever 2C you wanted.
