Description
even with these changes I would expect to miss the playoffs but not be bottom of division.

Gonna be real hard for a couple season unless we can move one of Burns/Vlasic/Jones. All of which seem pretty immovable right now.

I expect to lose Simek to Seattle which will make room for someone to move up from Cuda and save us just over $1m for 21-22 season, but will still be super tight.

I expect to see Blichfeld, Bergman and True all play games in NHL next season.
Will be interesting to see how Leonard, Merkley & Pasichnuk start out with Cuda. Those three could provide hope going forward if they play well as 1st year pros.

Final point, if Marleau decides to retire/sign elsewhere bring back Melker Karlsson on same money as PM12 to play 4th line and bump Gregor to 3LW

If this is all you're going to do, better off just holding pat and pumping more young guys into the lineup again and not giving away further draft picks for guys like Carrick and Johnsson that are not going to make a bit of difference. Either go all in to compete or don't give away any draft capital. Given DW said he expects to be in the playoffs next year, he is assuredly going to be more aggressive than this.

Leaf fans think Johnsson is a 2nd plus but what they dont understand is the rest of the league is not obligated to help Dubas clean up the mess he made. Also why the leaf trash will not get them Pesce from Carolina.
