That's bad for Montreal. A lot of quantity but only a late 1st and some mixed pieces.

Toronto would easily accept that.

Intersting Colorado idea. Avs have no need for Roslovic though unless we can flip him. I'm not keen to move Z to a division rival so the flip value on Roslovic would need to be at least a 2nd.

Im not completly opposed to that Domi deal to be honest as long as the pick is not protected. No gaurantee WPG is a powerhouse next year. That could be a lottery pick like it likely would have been this year. (And would have won had the season just ended...)

Veselainen is a very decent prospect. Habs need some bigger wingers badly. Stanley hasnt been great but he could improve quickly, still young. Alittle bit if a project prospect still. Perrault is just there for cap swapping but being a capable NHLer he can help diminish the loss of Domi for the season.

Its not my first option but if this was the best offer given after exhuasting all other options with other teams, Id be ok with it.

Fair enough. Thanks for elaborating. I guess my perception of the Winnipeg prospects is that they've had stuttering progress. Stanley in particular doesn't seem to have the skating for the NHL.

If the 1st is unprotected Winnipeg have no business trading it. It would likely be protected.

Habs pass, Veselainen is a borderline NHL 3-4th line prospect. He's a poor man's Armia. A 30 point winger in AHL is a longshot to become a regular NHL player.
