Description
If there are minimal moves, this has the potential to be the best team of the Avs run we're anticipating. Might've overshot the cap a little, was thinking +3-4 million for Seattle and +2ish for the normal rising cap after 81.5 flat cap next year. Not a cap expert though so don't tell me I'm an idiot in the comments I already know I am.

I went ahead and did a 2-year 5 million deal with Grubauer, though it's probably unlikely he'd take a short term deal at age 30. A lot is gonna depend on how Francouz/Annunen/Werner look over the next year.

Timmins was also a tough one, I had no idea what to do with him. A lot will depend on this year for him too. I'm crossing my fingers he's an NHL regular next year.

Timmins at 2.5m is pretty wild but other than that, its pretty fair and in the ballpark. Landy might push to 8 but I think the Lee contract in NYI should be his comp

“so don't tell me I'm an idiot in the comments I already know I am.“
That made me laugh so thanks for that.

Maybe a little low on nichushkin and timmins if you think he will be top 4 by then. Also why only one year for grubauer? I don’t think he will take a 1 year deal even after considering his injury issues. Otherwise this is fine and I think it’s safe to say that you are not an idiot. 😂

Honestly it was just kind of a placeholder for Grubauer, I honestly think the ideal situation would be for Francouz to look good enough to take over as a starter by then and have either Annunen or Warner look ready to at least be NHL backups. More likely for Werner as this is probably going to be Annunen's first year in North America and I'm guessing will need at least a year in the AHL. Goalies are so unpredictable though, I honestly feel like goaltending has become such a science these days that there's not much difference between good starters and good backups and it's probably not worth spending a ton of your cap on.
