Description
Tried going with shorter-term deals for DeBrusk and Grz in order to keep cap hits lower, although I admit I maybe a little low on the hits still. Also shorter deals give them an opportunity to "cash-in" in a few years when the cap should be higher and some of the big contracts come off the books.

I'm sure the Miller signing will be disliked, but my thought was low risk move. If Miller doesn't work out you can waive him and call up Vladar. If he does work out then you'll have a quality back-up. The defense in front of Miller would be better than he's had the past few years and we've seen guys like Halak/Dobby come in and see their numbers get better.

With roughly $4 million in space, they could maybe do something different in the back-up role, but just a different idea.

Moved Coyle to Studs RW because I don't see Boston using Studs as a RW. They've said he'd only make the team as a center and we've needed a RW all season, but Studs hasn't even been a consideration. Maybe that changes, but Coyle has experiance playing RW and could be a good on-ice mentor for Studnicka.

Looks good, fair deals (maybe a tad light on Grz) and still some wiggle room with the Cap.

Hopefully Moore is gone, Bruins may end signing a Miller but not this one lol I think he retires

Blidh likely in AHL and wonder what happens with Kuhlman (AHL or not) and Senyshyn (needs waivers to be sent down).

And except the 13/68 C/RW thing, agreed for everything

Ya it'll be interesting to see what happens. I think Blidh could be a quality 12th forward that can agitate. He probably could clear waivers, but if not and we lost him I'd be alright.

Khulman is interesting because he doesn't really have a spot if Studnicka makes the jump. Doesn't really fit the 4th line mold and isn't going to displace any of Pasta, Kase or Coyle/Studnicka on the right.

Senyshyn i still have hope for. I know many slapped the bust label on him a few years ago, but i think he could still be a solid 3rd liner that could give you 15/20 goals and a 200ft game.

I didn't do it in this mock, but Boston has so many pieces that maybe they try and make a move for a true #2RW. Palmieri will be in the final year of his deal and maybe available (was at the deadline). Rumors were they wanted a 1st in a deal, but no one was willing to give one up.

Kuhlman could actually be a reliable two-way player and score. Except for the physicality, he's better than Wagner. Wanted to see 81-52-83 after TDL but season was paused so... Ritchie/Blidh-Kuraly/Lindholm-Kuhlman/Wagner for the final spots I guess.

Slowly realizing if krug is resigned it doesn’t matter what Grez is signed too because seattle will take him in the expansion draft unless bruins make a deal with Seattle. Krug Carlo and Mcavoy will get protected + Bergeron, marchand, pasta, Coyle, debrusk, Kase + whoever else. Gonna be sad to see him go but Seattle would be stupid to not take him.
