Description
Ok I'm prepared for this to be torn apart, but remember it's fictional. I know the Preds are unlikely to trade Forsberg, but is the value close? Who needs to add in your opinions to make value, who needs to pay less. The final part is an agreement to move Marleau back to the Sharks, for one last blast. I haven't bothered with the rest of the team, just the trade.

Edit: Oops, forgot to put the Marleau bit in!

So...

COL receives Forsberg, Marleau and picks

TOR receives Barrie, some various prospects and picks

NSH receives Nylander, Kaut, Bowers, picks.

Value-wise NSH is the clear winner and TOR loses, monetary wise TOR saves up to $7M by doing it.

Regardless, don't really think it's fair. With a roster like that, one year of Barrie and eventual low pick isn't going to be enough for TOR.

NSH should accept, provided they can afford to do it. Moving their best forward to a division rival gotta hurt, but the return is so major they should do it.

I know you put a lot of thought into this but when I realized the "never would kind of happen three way" didn't involve Jessica Alba you kinda lost me. Good effort, though.

Thanks for the reply and thoughts. Would the addition of the first as non-conditional swing it enough, do you think?

Edit: I thought possibly the chance to clear space to sign their RFAs might be the way to swing it.

Hahahaha. Yeah I often think that when I see 3-way mentioned, though it's with different ladies! tears of joy . Thanks for the 'good effort' though.

Edit: Guess I could always sign her to keep you happy though?

On a more serious note it's easy to just come on here and post criticisms of other people's ideas and never add anything new yourself. Some people even try to do it as obnoxiously as possible. But good job coming up with something fresh and good job to BurgerBoss for a thoughtful response. Is it harder than typing "Toronto hangs up" or "I guess you dont watch much hockey"? Yes, but we all get something out of it.
