Avs pass, they are not giving up anything of value in a take Marleau package deal, thats not how these things work

No way the Avs make that trade just to help Toronto out. If/when Timmins recovers from the concussion problems he looks legit (for me he could probably have played a couple of seasons ago looking at how he played in the pre-season). Liljegren is a nice piece but at best that's just a swap for Timmins. Cap dump plus a second round maybe simply isn't enough for the Avs to take it.
