Hawks pass on that TOR trade. Nylander's "That Guy". It just seems like there always something negative...even when something positive happens. Game 1 of the playoffs is a great example. Get's a sweet feed from Kadri and score a goal which is GREAT! BUT he's also responsible for a STUPID penalty 175 feet away from his net which results in the only BOS goal. That's just 1 example of many.

***EDIT*** I do like that Filppula signing though. What are you thoughts on PIERRE-EDOUARD BELLEMARE as a bottom 6 center because he plays the PK well?

Not in love with drafting Byram, but if that's what it takes to trade for Nylander, I'd do it tbh. Maybe either add something so Toronto can take salary back or have them retain some, I don't want to swallow the entire cap hit

I'm not a fan of grabbing Nylander and wasting $7M of cap space on him. His game is totally off and he's way to streaky. Along with the first poster's point, last night he caused a goal against and helped Tor score a goal. It's like every good play he makes he makes a bonehead one. He's just way off his game for the hawks to swallow a $7M cap hit whereas they can grab someone like Dzingel for $5M or even pry away or offer sheet Kap for $4M; speaking of which, offer Mitchell and the 3rd rounder for Kap's RFA.
