Buddy you have a reputation on this site lmfao just today alone you have had 3+ users call you out. Show me where that happens with me. Just like your hockey takes you have no idea what your talking about, we can talk when aho is a pp/g player. Let me guess aho is better in some magical number like lowest shots against while the other team rubs their belly. The truth is Pettersson and Aho are very comparable defensively. While Pettersson is over a pp/g in his career.

did you just say KK is better than Dach ?
Outside the injury, Dach looked better than Suzuki in a small sample size, you clearly never watched him play.
without Injury Dach is a 80p+ player, you are out of touch

KK can be a genuine 2nd line center, he had a bad year, but proved last season he was.
And, Hoglander's shooting percentage died in the final month of the regular season. He was shooting 25 percent going into April. Perhaps check yourself before you talk. It's not the first time you're wrong and it won't be the last. Rememebr Petterson (whose passed the PPG mark twice) > Aho, Maybe watch other teams games before piping up ain the future, k bud?</div></div>
Still waiting for aho to hit the 100 point mark, Pettersson was on pace for back to back 100 point season before his knee injury lmfao most users on this site take Pettersson in heart beat. Petterssons worst season and 2nd worst of 30+ games played would be aho 4th and 3rd best seasons. Have aho join the century club one time and we can continue this argument, it's dumb to claim someone's shooting % was high in x mouth when that's not what he finished the year with which you the way you talk about his shooting % that's what it conveys. So at that point your just back peddling because your once again wrong. The fact you have a reputation on this site for being a canes homer. Multiple users and fanbases have called you out. Maybe take a look in the mirror and consider what Multiple users have told you before piping up in the future, k bud

Hoglander had 36 this year not much difference from 40 to 36. But I can tell you there is a major between 1.1mil and 4.6mil. Not only that the fact you can't even get Hoglanders shooting % correct calls into Legitimacy of the "analytics" you "provide". This isn't the first time you are wrong and won't be the last. Remember canes aren't trading bear for a late pick? Or KK is an elite 2nd center or how about aho (who hasn't even come close to sniffing 100 points) is better than Pettersson? Ironic as hell coming from you. Hoglander almost had more goals than kk had points, you have been beating this kk will break out drum for years and it's just not happening. You have to keep grasping at straws to "prove" you are right. When literally every stat outside of maybe one or two show kk is vastly overpaid and a bad contract the sooner you realize this not only is it better for you it's better for everyone on this site

You say Hoglander shot 25% when he shot 20%
You told me KK shot well below his career average this season when he shot 1% lower than his career average
You told me KK was 2nd on Carolina in xGF% in the playoffs and used his regular season stats instead of his playoff stats
KK costs a 1st to dump, Hoglander costs a 1st+ to acquire

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Caniac2000</b></div><div>Shooting 25%... clearly unsustainable, and a prime regression candidate. If we adjust for his career average shooting percentage, that comes down to around 15, still good, but not the gaudy numbers he was putting up. KK, on the flipside, shot at around 9%, below his career average. He's a candidate to see a big uptick in his production. Not to mention, centers are more valuable than wingers, KK's very strong defensively, and the center market is much thinner than the winger one. Soooo... yeah, realistic.</div></div>
20% not 25%. Yes it likely regresses a bit but assuming he keeps his expanded role from the second half of the season there’s no reason he won’t get 20 goals again
KK meanwhile shot 1% lower than his career average. KK also had worse defensive metrics than Hoglander

Hoglander scored 24 goals, all at 5v5 which ranked top 10 in the league, while playing half the season on the 4th line. He was 3rd in the league in 5v5 G/60 and had a better 5v5 P/60 than every Carolina player apart from Guentzel, and is signed for 1.1M next season
Yet you think KK, who has an awful contract for the next 6 seasons, and barely had more points than Hoglander had goals, while also having worse defensive metrics, is worth more
How exactly is that realistic?

Yeah PIT fans all heard the same on Poulin... oh if he could just stay healthy.......
He's got 2 years of 50 some games at the AHL level on top of 2 years of roughly 30 games...
They could have given him a chance by now if they wanted too... Which is the point I'm making.
If you aren't going to let the kid play and cut him a path... what's the point........
Wait just like Poulin..... I'm expecting another year starting in the AHL.... for what reason exactly???
Just play the kid already instead of coming up with excuses as to why he got hurt in the AHL when he shouldn't have been there to begin with.

Dude the eye injury was in 2019 that's not the reason he's still playing in the AHL.
His vision isn't coming back, the damage is done. That's how he plays now.
If you are going to throw him on the ice like that in the AHL, you might as well throw him on the ice at the NHL level too and give him his chance already to see if he can play.
Which was the whole point, nothing to do with Poulin other than to say, these guys aren't getting even a shot to see what they can do.
If you think the kid has the potential to play, it's time already. Give him a legit shot already instead of wasting his time.

Burns isn't a dump, you can find a suitor for him. Chatfield isn't coming back. May as well sign Pesce instead of Skjei because there's no long-term future for Skjei with Nikishin coming. Orlov's going to play next to Nikishin since Orlov can play both sides, and he can speak Russian since Nikishin can't speak English</div></div>

Pettersson >>> Aho it’s not even close. You’re the only person that thinks otherwise. Aho couldn’t even put up more points than Pettersson despite Aho having significantly better linemates at 5v5 and Pettersson playing injured since January. They also have very similar defensive metrics
If you want a player that is signed for 8 years and instantly becomes the best player on your team you’re gonna have to give up elite assets. Necas is a good piece but not good enough to headline the package. KK adds nothing. Late 1sts don’t add much
