Need an actual defensive minded defense man, not just a right handed version Hedman/Sergachev. Moving our better 2 way center in Cirelli isn't going to do us any favors either.

For some reason I feel like Cirelli to Boston could be something

I don't get it... What are you asking for in return?

Not sure why you'd trade a pretty good defensive center to improve defense, either.

Cirelli isn't going to be traded. You don't sign a player to an 8 year deal and trade him after 1 season.

Detroit with Copp and Compher don't have a need for Cirelli.

I know Yzerman drafted Cirelli but Detroit has enough bad contracts. 😬

Agreed, I just heard possibility due to cirelli being the only core member not having a NTC. Detroit wasn’t my true pick for him to go. Also montour is just an example of the amount of money we can or should spend on upgrades

If Cirelli was being traded for a top 4 RD with some term or assets that could then get that player, maybe. It's also funny seeing ppl on Herr who clearly just stat watch him saying it's a bad contracts. I don't see Tampa trading him anyway, and as long as they trade Sheary, Jeannot, and maybe Perbix, they'll be able to upgrade the defense.
