Thats not realistic imo. Too many moving parts (and also too much risk for the habs). Maybe if MTL somehow acquire an extra top 15 pick (maybe by trading Matheson), then packaging that pick with the 24-27 would do the trick. But tbh, I would only do it if the top 7 goes something like that and Lindstrom is still available:
Celebrini
Levshunov
Dickinson
Silayev
Demidov
Buium
Parekh
Lindstrom*
See it as what does SEA want... would fully adjust and send Matheson + 1-2 prospects + 1-2 of their next 3 1st Rounders (WPG/MTL/CGY). But if they want to stock up on prospects and 1st round picks we have to pay. This is banking on getting Lindstrom at our 5th overall and that Eiserman would still be available at 8. Could/Would let it ride further out if he slips more, but more risk and those teams seem less likely (?) to go for the swap.

Your trading 3 1st round picks for the 8th overall???
If your going to trade all those picks at least do it for the 2nd overall pick with Chicago.
So you think Chicago would go for that? If they would then LFG; but they aren't doing that for a more complete high end talent in Demidov.
3 first rounders:
2024 WPG - late 1st rounder
2025 CGY - likely (hopefully?) in range of 7th - 15th overall ...
2025 MTL - likely (?) same range... 7th - 15th overall.
If both are Top 10, that's why the conditions if both are Top 10 to protect one of the picks, otherwise middle 1st rounders is for sure a steep price but if that means this year we walk away with another Big man, center, and a top end sniper - have to pay that price.
The Top 9 there probably needs to 2026-27, but that also allows time to maybe do buy-outs later and/or bring in a FA to solidify what could be a very dangerous Top 9 to deal with
