These trades take 14 NHL roster players off MTL and put back 3. Even if someone wanted to try this the league wouldn't allow it. Yes it gives Mtl a bunch of picks but they essentially have a farm team in front of Bobrovsky.

NSH is not getting back anything worth the 1st they're giving up here. Really lopsided in MTL's favour.
