For the 2nd trade, as <a href="/users/Windjammer" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">@Windjammer</a> said, we ain't dumping Anderson that easily.
However, I do find the NSH trade interesting. I think RHP is a guy who fits very well in NSH's bottom 6, and I could see that trade happening

I think they go Iginla, but i'd have a tough time picking Lindstrom over Catton since Catton had similar a similar goal pace and a higher assist rate than Lindstrom. Adding the injury concerns, I think Gorton and Hughes stay away from him in the top 5. His ceiling is insanely high but the risk might not be worth it with Iginla or Catton there</div></div>
I somewhat agree, with the risk actually being risky. But Catton is absolutely not the type of guy MTL likes. He's a lower-intensity guy, and will likely be a poor playoff performer. There are risks with Lindstrom's injury being chronic, but with the ceiling he has, I don't think MTL passes on that. I think if they were to pass on him, it would be for Iginla, who fits in way more than Catton

putting aside injuries, he would be a top 3 lock. Obviously injuries occurred, but it is highly unlikely he drops farther than 5 (MTL clearly takes him over Catton). Maybe, maybe 7 if MTL decides to take Iginla over Lindstrom

Far off, sorry
Nurse might even be a worse cap dump than Anderson, but for the sake of this, let's say they are even. Matheson for a 2nd is a huge undervalue

Personally, I think Jiricek will be fine as a player in the NHL, but risky in terms of staying healthy. TBF, in general, European players are more risky then NA players, since they need to adapt to NA. But all things considered, Jiricek would be a very fine pick for STL, if they are at 16

Value-wise, the Matheson trade is pretty much there, and I think the deal would work if he is a RD, but since he is a LD, BUF declines.

That would mean that package is worth around 13th OA, so missing more for sure.

Agree with you other than Matheson. No need to underpay for him (It’s not that far off though, maybe a couple of spots too low)

Respectfully, kind of a meaningless comment
Does Mintyukov’s value lower because MTL doesn’t need him? Absolutely not, and no NHL GM ever thought like that. MTL doesn’t care what ANA values Guhle. He’s in the untouchable section for the team, so we absolutely don’t want to move him.
Looking at the D crop this draft, only Dickinson and Lev would be valid to trade Guhle away, and both wouldn’t be available at 10. So Guhle’s value might be somewhere around 10, but they would need even more to let him g
Plus, in the trade, Guhle doesn’t even go to ANA

LaCombe isn’t really worth much honestly. I first off, wouldn’t trade Guhle for Z, even if it’s close. But Dach>>>LaCombe
I’d say overall:
Zegras = 10th OA and Holtz > LaCombe
Guhle = Zegras and LaCombe <<< Dach
Guhle = 10th OA and Dach >> Holtz
So yea, MTL are getting kinda fleeced here
And IK I said Guhle for Zegras would be fair, but it’s definitely not a deal MTL would look into

How much for Zegras
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>OldNYIfan</b></div><div>Inconsistent? Regressed? That's a laughably horrible homer take. Did you miss the fact that he was on the injured list for 51 games? It was in all the papers.
In the 20 games this season that he played without injury, he recorded 15 points. You can do the math.
Despite his lost season, over his entire career he is still a 0.73 PPG player, just like Cole Caufield, with whom you should be familiar.
He is -40 in 211 games -- pretty comparable to Cole Caufield (-39), with whom you should be familiar.
He doesn't deserve to be sent to Montreal.</div></div>
Funny that you call me the homer, when I admit the truth, and you don’t (check my quote above). There is absolutely no excuse for Zegras’s production this year, it was terrible. Those 51 games don’t even count in the stats, so idk what you are on about (15/31=0.48, which is under half a ppg).
If a player is truly injured, he doesn’t play, simple as that. Caufield also played hurt the entire season, but we’re not using it as an excuse cause he does need to get better, and MTL fans can acknowledge that.
Have absolutely no clue why you bring Caufield in a discussion where he is absolutely not relevant, but MTL are not interested in a guy even more inconsistent than Caufield.
If you don’t want Zegras to improve, than I hope you’re satisfied with your 50 pt forward

Yep, Trying to insult with facts is a good one man. We’re all aware Caufield has consistency issues, and hopefully he can fix that. And obviously MTL wouldn’t get Mintyukov or 3rd OA for Cole, he isn’t worth that. Both Caufield and Zegras are likely worth 7th to 11th OA, but not guys like Guhle, Reinbacher, Mintyukov

Not really, both those guys are absolute key. If one of those guys was traded for Zegras, it would be Drouin 2.0 almost guaranteed. Zegras, even if he can be good, will be inconsistent all his career, and these 2 guys will be top 4 (likely top 2) consistent guys

How would you make this unfair trade more fair for Calgary
I think value-wise, probably adding the WPG pick, and maybe Harris or Barron as well.
Xhekaj seems to be worth a top 25 pick amongst almost every GM in the league, but definitely not 9
Let’s say he is worth 22…
22+26 is equal to about 8th OA, but since quality > quantity, the other D is needed as well
Not sure CGY would do that still, but that would at least make it fair
