Howard has the potential to be a top 6 NHL forward in time. His element is offense.
His game gained momentum down the stretch. He was more noticeable for a full 60 minutes at the end of the year than he was in the middle of the season. He had a fantastic U18 World Championship tournament in Germany scoring 6g-5a-11pts in 6gp.
Howard can be a transition threat. He's quick to space and has excellent instincts in the offensive zone. He has a quick release and knows how to finish in high danger areas.
