Cause I'm seeing teams hesitant to give up a mere 3rd round pick for Rasmus in your Armchair GMs. So essentially the haul is a 1st and two 3rds for Chych, Boucher, and Mando. I'd say that's pretty fair.

Flyers have no desire to obtain Boucher and Mando. Also, if Risto is in his prime, we will just keep the 1st and run it back during our rebuild. Chych doesn't move the needle to part with the 1st.

PHI would probably have to retain a few bucks on Ristolainen, or CGY on Markstrom.

that NYI trade is pure crap for OTT the only thing of value is the first and OTT is not trading Norris on the cheap. Pageau is a pure cap dump not worth his contract and whalstrom is a bust.

no chance in hell is trading any G prospect and that would not get chych alone OTT decline PHI trade.

CGY is not going to trade markstrom until he is a pending UFA, that is were he will have value. (like ARI got a 1st+ for DARCY KUEMPER as rental (won the cup) CGY would be able to get a similar return with retention for markstrom, if he dont suck by then, as a rental.

Agree we don't need Boucher or Mandolese. But i could do something like -24 FLA 1st + Risto <-> Chychrun. Our -25 1st is most likely gonna be top 10 pick, and shouldn't be considered. I think Chychrun could be good long term pair with Drysdale, and Risto would be blocking the way from Bonk anyways in a year. As the OP mentioned, people are just seeing the cap hit on Risto which is a bit too much (should be somewhere around 3,6M), but haven't seen him play last year, he would actually be a solid option for Sens' right side.
