And by decent you mean sufficiently bad enough for the leafs that it makes you happy. To think a "fair deal" for Marner is a 3rd pair 6/7 defenceman and a middle 6 forward plus a 3rd, well that's just absolutely ridiculous. Just flat out admit you hate TO more than you like hockey, it's crystal clear with your response.

Looking long-term, Evangelista could very well turn into a stud. It would take something like this trade to pry him away from us. Lauzon is also solid, he PKs and gives big hits, he’s not a 6/7 D, maybe bottom pair, but don’t be quick to overlook his value.
So it’s cool for Leafs fans to make awful trades for my favourite teams, and it’s not cool for me to like a trade that works for my teams? Love the hypocrisy.
