Hawks decline. Robertson isn't worth a 2nd. Hawks probably wouldn't have much interest in him at all.

why are you trading a guy who was on pace for 20 goals in a season playing under 10min a night and will probably score 20-25 next season who you can basically keep for league min?

Hawks fans are hilarious - truly, an awful team but somehow a young RFA (cost controlled) that scored at higher rate than anyone on their team (Bedard aside) is not good enough for them.
But I’m with the rest - I hope Leafs don’t move him, but if they do - trade value here seems about right.

Hawks fans on this site mostly have the same view on the rebuild. It's going to be long. No need to trade for a small speedy winger when their prospect pool is full of these type of player. Now if Robertson was a gritty 6'3 center with some speed we'd be all over him.

Young cost controlled RFA sounds exactly like something the Leafs should be hanging onto considering their cap problems. Yet, you guys keep trying to dump these players in every ACGM. So maybe they don't have the value you think they do.

Leafs nation is big - think Blackhawks fans and multiply by a lot - so there is a wide range of opinions.
Always weird to me that rival fans reference Leaf fans like we are a collective - there is no consensus amongst Leaf fans on almost anything; just too big a group and then you throw in the frustration of recent playoff exits, well… you get a lot of different opinions. I like Robertson and don’t think the leafs should move him but stating that some Leaf fans do and claiming that is somehow an indication of his value is pretty weak. Some Leaf fans want to dump Marner for FC, some have advocated trading Matthews and/or Nylander 🤯. Like I said the bigger the fanbase, the more individuals you get with extreme opinions

Robertson’s value is clear - this past year, he out scored any player on the Hawks NHL roster in 5v5 goals per 60 by a wide margin. And he did that in limited games, limited minutes and mainly in the on 3rd/4th line. Hopefully injuries issues are behind him, but the kid can flat out score

Look at the Leafs lineup and then look at Chicago. You put Robertson in Chicago and his numbers drop significantly. Factor in the frequent injuries and we can quantify his value to Chicago, which is nothing. Its been said repeatedly on this forum, Chicago has zero need for another undersized winger. Robertson might have value to another team, but he does absolutely nothing for Chicago.

No offense, but pretty much anyone would be an upgrade on the roster you have currently. But I get it - you’re rebuilding you have young prospects coming similar to Robertson - so trade makes no sense for Hawks. And agree to disagree, Robertson will be a scorer (25-30) in this league - assuming he can stay healthy 🤞.
