Chychrun: ~1 year after being traded for 12OA + 2nd + 2nd, is now being traded for 17OA + 2nd + TVR

Ehlers: Pending UFA, who is maligned by the WPG managment. Friedman said at the TDL that WPG was looking for a speedy winger under cost control (Joseph), a cost controlled analytics darling (Brannstrom), a late 1st (you could ask for the WSH 1st[17OA vs 26OA], just give us a pick coming back) and Boucher, who might turn into something quite valuable, but likely wont. WPG fans, if you dont like this, could you think of a comparable player trade I could look at?

There's nothing there that is even slightly interesting for Winnipeg. Winnipeg would look for as close to a one for one hockey trade as possible.

Youre giving up a .75pt forward for a .5pt forward who is a year younger, half the price and a year longer, adding a 24yo defenceman, a 1st and a lottery ticket.

WPG didnt look for a 1 for 1 with PLD, they took a useful cheaper forward, a young analytically favoured piece and a draft pick. I figured they would be amenable to doing the same again.

I think the value is fine, quite the haul in fact. Imo, Jets already have plenty of middle six forwards and they need more size on blue line not less, the pick is nice. need high quality not quantity. When PLD happened Jets had less depth than they do now. I think they would get a more appealing deal elsewhere.

Sounds exactly as I described it, nothing interesting.

This is about 25% of what PLD got in value and they were players the filled needs for the Jets, not random pieces you are looking to dump.
